Position Title Technical Support Specialist
Location Georgia - Atlanta (CDC) (GA07) (Constella)
Daily Responsibilities SRA International's Global Health Sector is an international health services organization working across government and commercial markets, composed of four Strategic Business Units. These units provide professional services in a variety of areas, including drug development/clinical research (CRO); international health development: designing and implementing public health and social programs in developing countries; domestic public health services: laboratory sciences, epidemiology, health communications, disease surveillance, peer review, and information technology.

Technical Data Services is seeking considerable technical expertise to launch and maintain a tracking network. Responsibilities are but not limited to:
a. Managing and tracking of both nationally-derived and state-submitted data sets (high volume)
b. Data Analysis support (reporting needs)
c. Maintaining Tracking Network Data
d. Development of data
e. Technical support and documentation for registered Tracking Network users
f. Documentation of procedures for services provided

Types of Data (From 16 states, over 170 data sets a year)
a. Environmental monitoring data (water, air)
b. Health outcomes surveillance data (cancer, birth defects, lead poisoning, etc.)
c. Other (census, housing)

Technical Support for Registered Users
a. Assist in establishing a user support system
b. Assist with the registration process
c. Develop and update technical documentation and on-line user guidance
d. Develop and implement user/customer support functions and update as necessary
Required: Years of experience (min) 3-5
Required: Degree Bachelors
Required: Skills Database Mgmt, Communications skills (oral and written), customer friendly
